Welcome to the FFDB
THE site for sharing you Visualjockey compositions

On this page you can share your compositions in form of .vjef-files. As on every file-sharing-site the system is based on giving and taking. So get yourself a login and upload some of you compositions.

In addition to plain filesharing the FFDB provides some more interesting features:

• Plugin-based search: Based on the plugins you own, the system will only show you those files you can use with your personal installation of Visualjockey.
• Rating and commenting: All files may be rated and commented by registered users. This can help you working and refining you compositions.
• Remix-management: You can declare your compositions as remixes of other compositions, thus giving credits to the original author of those compositions.
• Contests: On a regulary basis contests will be held in the FFDB. In those contests every entry (.vjef-file) must use a given plugin. At the end of the contest the users may vote which entry may win the contest. The winner gets to chose which plugin to use in the next contest.
• Messaging: The FFDB provides a messaging-system which allows you to send messages to other users. This is also used to notify users of certain system-wide events (such as contest etc.)
• Plugin-ID management for developers: The FFDB has full knowledge of all IDs in known Visualjockey plugins. Using this system the FFDB can tell developers of new plugins which IDs not to use.
